Summer Camp 2020
June 8 – 12 Clay Week– Students will explore clay in many ways. We will create a variety of projects using hand building and throwing.
June 15 – 19: Everglades Week – We will learn about animals and plants of the Everglades. The campers will create paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures of the flora and fauna.
June 22 – 26: Fiber Arts Week – The students will explore a variety of ways to use fiber through weaving, stitching, and dyeing.
June 29 – 3: Clay Week 2 – Students will explore clay in many ways. We will create a variety of projects using hand building and throwing. Same as the first clay week, but different projects.
July 6 – 10: Word Week – We will explore and create works of art based on artists who have used words in their work. We will learn about calligraphy, graffiti, pop art, collaging, etc…
July 13 – 17: Bugs, Monsters, Unicorns and Cute Stuff– We will have fun exploring this theme with many art mediums. We will paint spiders, sculpt baby Yoda’s, print unicorns, and many more fun projects..
