Summer Camp 2021
June 14 – 18: Clay Week 1– Students will explore clay in many ways. We will create a variety of projects using hand building and throwing.
June 21 – 25: Draw This and That – Students will learn various drawing techniques and use a variety of materials. Emphasis will be placed on observation, memory and imaginative skills to build and improve their drawing skills.
June 28 – July 2: Out of the Blue – The students will explore various inhabitants of different bodies of water found on planet Earth. We will sculpt, paint, draw and paper mache these creatures and their environments.
July 5 – July 9: Clay Week 2 – Students will explore clay in many ways. We will create a variety of projects using hand building and throwing. Same as the first clay week, but different projects.
July 12 – 16: Art of the Ancient – We will learn about and create works of art based on ancient civilizations around the world. We will create artworks in a variety of media inspired by the Greeks, Egyptians, Minoans, Aztecs, and many more…
July 19 – 23: Design it! – We will have fun exploring the theme of everyday design. Student will learn about everyday design in their lives, from clothing, architecture, advertising, and everyday items around us. We will create our own designs by drawing, painting, sculpting and printing.
