Summer Camp 2023
June 12 – 16: Clay Week: Functional Pottery– Students will explore working in clay. We will learn to design functional pottery cups, plates, bowls and spoons using the wheel and hand building.
June 19 – 23: Art of the Circus – Students will learn about the history of the circus. We will draw, paint, paper mache, and work with clay to create whimsical works of art inspired by the entertainers and animals of the circus.
June 26 – June 30: Medieval Art – The students will explore medieval times and the history through art. We will create artwork using a variety of mediums, painting, drawing, clay, printmaking, and mixed media. We will create castles, gargoyles, illuminated manuscripts, unicorns and more.
July 3 – July 7: Clay Week: Sculpture – Students will explore working in clay. We will create a variety of projects and use different techniques through hand building to make sculpture in clay. We will be closed on July 4th.
