Course Overview

This five-week course includes hands-on instruction plus select open-studio hours, giving you additional time to practice, experiment, and refine your work outside of class.

Beginners will develop essential skills such as centering, trimming, throwing cylinders and bowls, along with introductory hand-building and decorative techniques.

Intermediate and advanced students will expand their skill set by exploring more complex forms, surface treatments, and refined techniques, with new challenges introduced each week.

All instruction is thoughtfully tailored to each student’s experience level to support creative growth, confidence, and individual artistic goals.

We offer this course at three different studio locations:

Anhinga Clay Studios main studio is located in a safe area in central Miami right off the highway, and we have adequate parking. We also have some great restaurants and breweries in the area. Perfect for a date night, a night with the family, girls night out, ect…

Flow State Studio is part of our annex studio near the main studio a few blocks away.

Casa Ferber Studio is located in Homestead, FL in a very safe and beautiful location surrounded by farms, animals, and luscious landscaping.
