One-Time Pottery Class
For those who would like to give the pottery wheel a try, whether it is for the first time, need a refresher, or just cross it off your bucket list. This is a one-time class designed to give you a feel for the potter’s wheel. Clay, glaze and firing included. Please read the description below for details.
BYOB if you like, sip why you spin the wheel (beer and wine only please). Just remember you are operating machinery, like driving a car, and you need lots of balance.
This class is offered on Tuesdays, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights between 7:00 pm -9:00 pm, Wednesday and Fridays 12pm- 2pm, Saturdays 3pm -5pm, Sundays from 1pm – 3pm, and 4:30 pm -6:30 pm. Some Fridays 6pm -8pm.

In the One-Time pottery class you will learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel, and you will create 3 pots. You will select your best pot and add some decorations which we will process and fire. One pot kept is included in the class, additional pots kept are $5 each.
Participants can choose a glaze for their pot from a selection of 10 different colors. Completed work takes at least two weeks to process before you can pick it up.
If you are from out of town and would like us to ship your pots, we can also arrange shipping for a fee.
General Class Refund and Cancellation Policy:
For a refund or reschedule, classes must be cancelled 48 hours prior to the start of the first class and they must be in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org . Any cancellations or rescheduling after the 48 hours prior to the start of the class will not be honored. We need a minimum of 4 students to host the class and we will cancel the class if we have less than 4.
If you are purchasing using a credit card the credit card fees for transaction will not be refunded 4% +.30. If you pay in cash, you get a full refund. For rescheduling you only get 1 change.
In very rare cases sometimes accidents happen in the kiln and if your pot does not survive, we have some of our own custom made pots to give you in exchange of your loss. No refunds or credits for loss of your pottery.
After two weeks please come back to pick up your pottery, we will also send a reminder email notice, any pottery left after 30 days becomes property of the studio.
